ITK Millennium Machine CRT - Overview
Thomas Electronics telecine equipment part #9M265P48 is used in Millennium Machine by ITK. There are several important
breakthroughs in the design of this CRT that are an integral part of ITK's unique approach to telecine
engineering. A proprietary mix of phosphors creates a wide spectrum white light output with an extremely
fast persistence (Spectra chart for Telecine / 9M265P48).
The wide spectrum affords much more blue and red light than the P46 phosphors used in other
telecine CRTs thus ensuring quiet signals.
The curved inner surface of the CRT creates an exact focal match for the curved film skid plate
keeping the scanned images in focus at all points on the frame. An advanced gun design and compacted
phosphor screen create a very fine focused spot for very high resolution scans up to 4K. Spot size
measures down to .001" with a useful screen area of 4" x 6". The CRT is laminated to a 72mm / 2.8"
thick IR matching optic for minimization of optical flare.
ITK Millennium Machine CRT - 4K Resolution Upgrade Package
We now offer the Millennium CRT Upgrade for true 4k resolution. This micro-positioning coil system
allows for optimum beam alignment for maximum resolution. It is fully compatible with existing
Millennium Machine electronics and is fast and easy to install.
