Head Down Displays
Thomas Head Down Display solutions include both monochrome and color Cathode Ray Tubes (CRT) and Cathode Ray Tube Assemblies, Flat Fluorescent LCD backlights and ruggedized LCD assemblies.
All of our Head Down Display solutions can be full Mil-grade compatible. They are all sun light readable. Thomas can laminate Night Vision Goggle compatible filters in place as well. Our Head Down Displays can be refurbished at end of life, thereby reducing overall life cycle costs.
Head Up Displays
Thomas Head Up Display (HUD) solutions includes Cathode Ray Tube Assemblies and very bright Flat Fluorescent Lamps.
All our Head Up Displays (HUDs) are fully ruggedized for use in demanding environments. The Cathode Ray Tubes (CRT) can use P53 phosphor for high brightness output and long life, as well as better linearity over the full drive curve. Thomas Electronics can use dispenser cathode for additional life enhancement. The HUDs can be refurbished to reduce life cycle costs and can be stock items to minimize turn around time.
Helmet Mounted Displays
Thomas Helmet Mounted Displays (HMD) include Cathode Ray Tubes (CRT). HMD are among the most demanding of applications.
Our Cathode Ray Tube Assemblies are fully encapsulated, with mating connectors and mounting hardware. They can feature fiber-optic faceplates for contrast enhancement or convex glass faceplates for image integration. All of our HMD Cathode Ray Tubes (CRT) are high resolution displays, with line width as low as 15 microns. A variety of phosphor colors are available.
